A Night with Luke Jerram
Thursday 5th July
7:30 pm to 10:30 pm
Come and meet the artist himself. Luke Jerram will be in attendance to present his ‘Museum of the Moon’. Listening to Luke is just part of an evening where you will be the first to see the schools art exhibition, relax with a drink and enjoy some tasty food. The moon will also be the focus for a wide range of learning opportunities. Art, Maths and Science will run activities inspired by the Moon exhibition.

Friday 6th July
Friday evening will see the hosting of the schools summer Arts Soiree. This event is part of the school’s annual celebration of song and dance which this year is enhanced by the installation of Luke’s fantastic creation. As well as performances from pupils of all ages, Handfuls of Harmony adult choir will perform some of their latest songs. The moon will also be the focus for a wide range of learning opportunities. Art, Maths and Science will run activities inspired by the Moon exhibition.This event is not open to the public.
Museum of the Moon
Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th July
Saturday and Sunday are the days when you get the chance to marvel at the ‘Museum of the Moon’. We have organised a series of one hour slots for the you to come in and enjoy Luke’s
Museum of the moon. You will get the chance to listen to the soundtrack specially commissioned to be played alongside the moon.
In addition to marvelling at the moon you are welcome to stay on site and enjoy the other opportunities around campus:
- Enjoy an exhibition showcasing the excellent Art and Photography produced within the school.
- Visit the schools historic Gatehouse where you will be able to find out more about the artist Luke Jerram.
- Enjoy a range for refreshments from outlets on site.
- Enjoy a picnic on the school field or walk across to Ashton Court Estate.
Last show on each day will be 4.00pm.
Under 3's go free and will not be required to have a ticket.
